We asked some leading people in Wales to tell us about their experiences of Techniquest – here is a selection. 

Rosie Swale Pope

Author and adventurer Rosie Swale Pope ran 20,000 miles around the world in co-operation with Techniquest partners Size of Wales.  As she meets the interactive challenges of Techniquest in company with her grandson, Michael, she wishes the science centre 100 more successful years.

Rhys Meirion

Leading classical singer and one of the Three Welsh Tenors, Rhys Meirion talked about Techniquest as an "incredibly important resource" when he visited our stand at the Urdd Eisteddfod.

Dywedodd Rhys Meirion, sy'n gantor clasurol blaenllaw ac yn un o Dri Tenor Cymru, fod Techniquest yn "adnodd arbennig o bwysig" pan ymwelodd â'n stondin yn yr Eisteddfod Genedlaethol.

 

Professor Sir Martin Evans

Professor Sir Martin Evans, who won the Nobel Prize for Medicine for his pioneering work in stem cell research, enjoys Techniquest with his grandchildren, and explains why science should be accessible to all.

TV Science Presenter Gareth Jones (aka Gaz Top) has filmed his own quirky take on Techniquest and the contribution it has made to some of his productions over the years.
